Ramayana Month

Ramayana is one of the great epics, which reflects the ethics of our tradition and culture.  In Ramayana, we can perceive strong family rapport, adorable brotherhood, ardent guru disciple relationships and self-sacrificing personalities. Each and every character, be it Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, Sathrughna, Sita, Urmila, Kousalya, Sumithra, Dasaradha or Hanuman, accepted all the distressing experiences, and surrendered their whole being for the welfare of the country and others. Actually each and every personality in this sacred scripture, demonstrates our own mental stance. Rama and Ravana, both exist in our minds. When we develop good qualities in us and spread out brightness to the entire world, Rama awakens and removes all our evil thoughts and actions. It signifies the death of Ravana and the birth of Rama in our hearts. Studying Ramayana paves the path to achieve this great state. As part of this our staff and students started to recite the sweet melody of Ezhuthachan’s Ramayana on 17th July 2014.Smt Zaina teacher inaugurated the function and Smt Sobha ,the music teacher chanted the first few lines of Ramayana.
