We celebrated our 65th independence day with great pomp and pleasure. We started the programme at 9:30 am by lighting the lamp. After the flag hoisting, the students from higher classes performed marvelous group display. We shared our happiness by distributing sweets to all. As a part of the celebration we conducted English essay writing, patriotic song and national anthem competitions.
As the part of Independence Day celebration, literary club conducted flag making competition for the classes III – XII. The XI STD got first place in that competition. The prize was distributed to the class leader on Independence Day.
